A comprehensive process to recycle lithium-ion batteries by extracting high-grade black mass and high-quality precursor materials.

LN Indtech Services Pvt Ltd has developed and successfully delivered a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for lithium-ion battery upcycling, encompassing process development, engineering design, equipment fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The advanced technology is designed to efficiently process both ternary and LFP batteries, enabling the recovery and conversion of high-grade black mass into valuable, high-purity precursor materials.

Through this innovative process, the plant produces critical battery-grade compounds and metals, including Lithium Carbonate (Li₂CO₃), Cobalt Sulfate (CoSO₄), Nickel Sulfate (NiSO₄), Manganese Sulfate (MnSO₄), and Iron Phosphate (FePO₄), along with recovered metals such as Cobalt, Nickel, and Copper, and high-purity Graphite. These materials, with purity levels of up to ~99%, are suitable for reuse in advanced battery manufacturing and other industrial applications, supporting a sustainable and circular materials ecosystem.
